I've just agreed to sell my Galaxy s7 edge, and I've come to encrypt the device before I factory reset and it doesn't give me any option to encrypt. All that's on screen is 'encrypt SD card' but that's greyed out as there's no SD card inserted. It has had previous owners. Could they have encrypted the phone before me. Is that why it's not showing?
Can a previously encrypted phone be encrypted again. I really don't want to get rid if I can't encrypt it.
Can anyone shed some light on this please?
