Is anyone running full disk encryption on the One M9? And if so how does it run afterwards? I am interested in turning it on but I have heard performance drops so was wondering if anyone is running encryption and how it has been for them.

I know how to turn it on. I was wondering if anyone was running it and how the phone performs. I have read the Nexus 6 and other phones take a performance hit with it enabled and was wondering if the M9 suffers the same fate.

Actually,the members in the NEXUS 6 forum seem to be evenly split on the performance hit of encryption,w/some who've ran with & without ,stating the performance hit/gain is mere placebo effect.

Gotcha. Then I may go run it on the M9. Was just wondering about performance after reading of performance hits. So was wondering if the M9 suffered the same. But since it is merely a placebo on the Nexus 6 I would wager a guess the M9 is mostly the same.
