OMG, my wife says Craw-DADs and it drives me freakin' nuts! It's a crayfish!

She's west coast and I grew up in Florida.
 
Mary, Merry and Marry are all utterly distinct sounds, with no possibility of confusion. Anyone who thinks any pair of them sound the same should not describe themselves as "English speaking" - "American speaking" perhaps, but definitely not "English" :P

Hilarious, because M(xxxx)y Was the sole example where I found myself thinking: "Obviously, we can all agree, completely alike, no variations or distinction.":p
