I have a Galaxy S3 and whilst abroad I managed to enter my passcode incorrectly 3 times and so the SIM is locked.
On return I got an eight digit PUK code from Three. When I turn the phone on it asks me for the PUK code and telling me that I have 10 attempts left. I enter it and press OK. The screen clears and I am returned to the original screen which asks me for a PUK code and tells me that I have 10 attempts left.
This leaves me rather confused as I do not know whether it is a phone problem or a SIM problem or what!
I did try to swap my Three SIM with that of the Three SIM in my wife's phone but this was not possible ass they are of different size and I do not have the necessary adapter.
Any suggestions?
