Help Entering spaces in browser

I'm using the default browser on my razr, because lately chrome has been so slow for unclear reasons. One thing I've noticed is that when i enter words into the search field on googles search page, spaces between words are not auto inserted. Can i change this? The auto inserted spaces are pretty helpful...

Explain. If you type "this thing" you should get either "this thing" or "this%20thing", which is the same thing in a browser. What are you getting? "thisthing" with no space? (If you're looking for multiple spaces, you're not going to get them without entering a space as %20. HTML is a "space eater" - anything after the first space gets dropped. It's just how the technology works.)

I tried including the quotes at the beginning, and that didn't solve the problem... Still having no spaces between the words. E.g. to say "this thing" id type the open quote, then the word this, and then there should be an auto inserted space before the word thing, but there wasn't. Was that what you meant Thom?
