Root Entropy, battery effect

Hi there!
I recently bought the "3C Toolbox Pro" app for my S5 to find the option to change the "entropy" threshold. My question is whether this will have a negative or positive effect on battery life, because I have very much enjoyed the increased smoothness of the os from increasing the threshold. If you also have any simple (or thorough) explanation of what the entropy pool is, please share.

i personally cant say for sure, but if it is something that affects the smoothness of the device, i assume it means something is working harder than it normally would, which would leave me to believe the battery is affected by this somehow.. lol but im just guessing
