Help Epic 4g connection issues. (no wifi, no 3g/4g, no signal)

Hey there,

I'm writing here on behalf of my friend, so forgive me on the limited amount of information.

My friend was reckless and his phone fell on the floor from a considerable height... resulting on the battery popping out of it and flying to the other side of the room.

The phone looks fine, the screen is pristine, no scratches at all, but he has no signal from Sprint and he can't connect to his wifi.

I was wondering if this fall could really have physically damaged his phone modem without damaging anything else, or if this could be a software issue that happened due to the battery being removed abruptly.

His phone is not rooted.

Is there anything that can be done other than contacting Sprint and getting a new phone?

Thanks in advance,

Dan.

either restart the phone ,reset or place a stock rom ( I would think depending on the phones drop it might have been hardware related)
I just received a replacement epic 4g touch today since my charger port was whack calls and texts werent coming through and microphone went out.... Seems like these ******* arent built tough... any way if those trouble issues dont work then contact sprint. (just say it happend out of the blue though you dont want them saying its physical damage)

Humm...we'll try to fully reset it and see what happens... if it doesn't fix we'll try talking our way trough Sprint support to replace the phone...

I thought it could be software because when I 'Googled' for it, the "no connectivity" seems to be a known 'bug' on the Epic 4g touch.... and of course, since the battery got removed randomly It could've messed up something.

Thanks for your quick answer.

Dan.
