Epic 4g or Evo 3D?

Hi im new to the forum and my name is Dustin. i recently bought my first android phone in the samsung epic 4g as my name so describes. So far i havent been to impressed with the phone. The gorilla glass screen already has tiny scratches all over it, and the battery is not what i would like it to be. This being said i really like the size and quality of the screen, along with the physical keyboard. Now heres the question, this is the last week of my 30 day warranty, i am also really intrigued by the new evo 3d. Im asking for opinions, should i return my epic and pay the difference for the new evo? I really like physical keyboards, but at the same time ive never consistently used an on screen one so idk if it would make much of a difference in the decision. Anyways, what do guys think?
 
The size of the screen on the 3D makes up for no physical kb. Its slightly narrower than the Evo 4G but I still have very few issues with it. The phone is fast. I wasnt sold on the 3D feature but it's pretty neat when you want to use it. Especially once you figure out where the sweet spot is and see the 3D with little to no eye strain.

Battery is pretty good to. Better than my Evo 4G thus far.

+1 my wife has the evo (I did too) and I upgraded to the 3D and what a difference. I would say worth it compared to the Epic. Not sure how the Epic compares to the Evo but I loved my Evo. Battery is extremely better, my wife and I were both surfing the internet on our phones and she went through a battery and a half (to be fair it was a bit smaller of a battery) and I dropped from about 80% to about 66-67% constant surfing/messing around.
 
Definitely the Evo 3D, it's just a better phone.

The 1.2ghz dual core processor really makes a difference, as does the 1gb of RAM. The S-LCD screen is bright and gorgeous, and the battery life is better compared to the Evo 4G.

The only reason I would not get it is if you can't afford the $200 on contract and has to go with a free/cheap phone.
 
will you be able to returned a scratched screen phone? good luck.

as for which, the two really are not a good comparison. so go with what you feel most comfortable with.
 
You really can't compare the 3VO to the Epic....The Epic is a year old vs the just released with all the latest spec 3VO. Now the right comparision would be the Epic 2 or Within, even the Nexus S 4G is the better comparision.
