Epic 4g port issue

My phone will now only charge if I have the cable pushed into the port at just the right angle. This has been annoying and frustrating. Short of going to get it fixed, is there anything I can do?

You might physically inspect the connection. Perhaps a pin in the connector is a bit askew and something such as some tweezers might remedy your problem. Be warned however that the pins are quite fragile and can easily be broken so proceed with caution. Have you tried a different charging cable? If it's the cable, a new one can be obtained easily.
