Anyone else have an issue that when you erase the last typed word at the end of a sentence the cursor then places itself on the line below instead of where you just deleted the word? You then have to backspace to get back up to the line and it brings your signature closer to your written message. This is driving me nuts.

I don't think it's a generic problem. I use the mail app and gmail app on S2, S3, Note2 and the Nexus tablets (7 & 10), never seen that happening.
Just to make sure, I double checked just now, and I was unable to reproduce the problem.
What you describe tho, sounds more like keyboard problem than the app.
I'm using Swiftkey and Swype here.
