erase number error on keypad

When prompted to choose a number (1, 2, etc) I put it in, then it asked me to type my own number. I couldn't erase what was on the screen to type the number I wanted. How do I erase the screen once a number is typed?

Backspace key. If that doesn't do what you need, I'd say the app has a bug.
