My android phone and tablet are synched for photos. How do I erase some from phone without erasing them from tablet

Erasing photos from synched phone

When viewing a photo in Google Photos, press the Menu button at the top right and select Delete from device. Google Photos will still display the photo in the main view which shows your synced photos, but it will no longer be stored on the device - and will still be available on the tablet.
