Eris 2.1 leak how to fix

For those of you who are still skeptical about using the eris 2.1 release i have good news. Works fine on mine however i did have to do a complete recovery. If you load it from your memory card you may see some problems with SMS and updating files. No worries though just do a complete system recovery by holding power and volume down.This will WIPE EVERYTHING! but you will still retain the 2.1 update. All you have to do now is go through the prompts and re load everything, but if your syncd with Google its fast. Or you can always wait till the drop date. 2.1 FTW super fast.

Yeah i had to do that too. It seemed to fix a lot of things that were screwing up. I do still get an FC on messaging once in a while though.

i got an official push from htc back in March on my Eris (wasnt mine at the time). Just got it and did a wipe, now Market and Gmail wont load, get a "Google Partner....." error.

?????help!
