ERIS- Upgrading to Official 2.1 from Unofficial 2.1?

I have the leaked 2.1 update on my not rooted HTC Droid Eris. I can't get it to detect the official update, and the manual update (apparently) doesn't work unless you have an official version of the firmware.

Is there any way around this? Am I stuck with the leaked version (and therefore technically out of warranty?)?
