Even with data it doesn't work.^^^I'm curious of that. Being so slow I wonder if they are terminating the connection after a certain amount of throughput.

I am really sorry this is not a solution. I am not trying to be rude.
Its like a swimming teacher saying, you cannot swim just use a boat.
Because that's not my question. It's the same as saying someone that is trying to learn to swim to use a life jacket instead. Or some one that is trying to learn multiplication to use a calculator instead. Why is this not a solution to your problem? Instead of installing the app on your phone via the Play Store (select the app, the apk gets downloaded onto your phone, and then it installs the app), you're instead downloading the necessary apk yourself and then manually installing it.) The end result is the exactly the same.
I understand you're frustrated about this situation but as for being rude, whatever. Plus, I have no problem sinking to your level.
I know English is not my first language but the question is very clear. Here it is:OK, so the issue isn't that you actually want to install that app, you're instead fixated on that error 495 message. You might get a lot more relevant info on this if you re-phrase your question. Getting that app installed on your phone isn't the issue and since you don't make that clear that's a part of why most comments are focused on that. Most of us don't fixate on error messages themselves but solving the problem that those error messages are tied to. You should approach this from a developer or engineering point of view.
Its very simple. If someone asks what is 2 x 2 than if you know say its 4 and if you don't know just say you don't know or ignore it. Don't say 3 5 6 7 8 9 etc... It wouldn't help any one even if you say 3 the nicest way possible. He didn't ask for nice.
First of all 2 times 2 can be only 4. It cannot be anything else. Here's the real issue. Error 495 is a relatively generic error code that can apply to multiple problems. It's not device, process or application specific. All anybody can do is recommend what has worked for others. There is no single fix for all situations.
Yeah that's what I asked. If anyone had error 495 before and fixed it by themselves than recommend me what has worked for themselves.
So let's look at the problem. Downloading large apps fails, but smaller apps (can we say under 500MB?) succeed. The only common denominator is the size of the download. You have verified that there is sufficient space.
You have also indicated that both your data connection and WiFi connection are relatively slow (4 - 5 hours for a 1GB download sounds like a throttled connection). So, at some point your data stream is being interrupted and the download fails because of time. You phone may go into standby after 30 minutes or your carrier might renew your IP every hour. It could be a lot of things that will throw that error code and unless we all come to your place and see it happen in person, all anybody can do is guess.
Not quite. It's more like if you asked what is 2 x (2+X) without anyone knowing what the value of X was. It could be anything. Now in your case X could be a value of 1 to 100, but it's value in relation to you is unknown so the answer isn't 4 necessarily. Every answer you have been given up to this point is potentially correct. Must I say "Schrodinger's Cat"?
First of all 2 times 2 can be only 4. It cannot be anything else.
Point is I have specially asked not to post unless there is someone that had error 495 and solved it by themselves. That is true, but consider that 3+1 also equals 4.
Point being that there are often many solutions that solve a problem. Helpful people have suggested alternatives which may have addressed your problem.
I don't understand your argumentative, and unreasonable attitude in response to people who are trying to help you. Just FYI, you are being quite rude, and that's probably the best piece of information you can take away from this thread. Learn to be more reasonable and patient when you ask questions.
Yeah there is two reasons why I sign up here.Taking into consideration your query here has clearly not lived up to your expectations, perhaps there are other resources that might give you the answer you're seeking? Since free tech support in a public help forum does not appear to meet your needs, you might find better results consulting with a local tech-focused contractor. This might require actually paying a fee to someone for their efforts, but given that you're not even shy about your sense of entitlement, that might be your best option.
Point is I have specially asked not to post unless there is someone that had error 495 and solved it by themselves.
Helpful nice people have talked about to something they have no idea about which in return didn't help at all to solve the problem.
The best piece of information I learned here is no body in this forum had error 495 and solved it before. No body had the knowledge about error 495.
When did Unforgiven said he had the same problem and fixed it? He clearly said his problem happens no matter the size. Mine only happens when it is a large game. And he wasn't sure if it was error 495 or not.@Unforgiven specifically said he had that problem and fixed it on an older phone, so your statement is patently false. Unfortunately what fixed his problem didn't fix yours. That's because error 495 is far to general and can apply to many different problems. When you add a variable to your 2 x 2 equation, then it may no longer equal 4, but if you don't know what that variable is then you really can't say there is a right answer.
If you only want replies from people in the Maldives who own the same phone and not only have had the same problem but also solved it, you are going to have a long wait.
