when I connect android usb cable with pc.I had no notification such as ;usb is connected;..but mobile starts charging with no any notification..i want to transfer files via usb but cant..my mobile is voice v850...I need help..even i read a message in usb tethering that ...usb is not connected..Is there any solution????

Try the simple things first - a different usb port or a different cable. And connect directly, not through a hub.

The first cable I bought is only useful for charging, and doesn't work for data, so you might just have been unlucky like that.

I'm going to guess it's the cable. I've had USB cables that used to work suddenly stop and only work for charging. As Hadron suggested, try a different cable. If you try multiple cables and it still does not work you may need to download USBdview to your PC.

Disconnect your device from the computer. Open USBdview and delete everything related to Android and/or your device. Plug it back in.

What this does is removes your device from the list of hardware that was previously plugged into your computer. Essentially making it look like you never plugged it in before. Then Windows goes through it's discovery process and sets itself up to use your hardware.

Agree with the two previous posters, but another possibility is that you are missing or have the wrong (or multiple) USB drivers installed. Go to your Android device manufacturer's website and find the latest version of USB drivers. Then in Windows, go to Control Panel > Programs. Verify what, if any, version you have currently installed and compare to the manufacturer's page. If you have an earlier version (or versions), uninstall first, then install the newest drivers. Of course, if you are currently missing the drivers, just go ahead and downlaod as well.
