Help error symbol LG Optimus Zip

on top of my phone there is a triangle with a red exclamation point in it. I assume something is not working but I have no idea what it is. Is there any way to find out which program is having a problem?

If you swipe top to bottom, you should then see a list of alerts, one of which might explain why the triangle with a red exclamation point is there.

I had a similar symbol pop up on mine but just before that I got a confirmation dialog indicating that data use outside the United States would result in extra charges...what's weird about it was I was traveling through western Oklahoma at the time lol. But yeah could be data roaming symbol or something else...only way to know is to swipe down and see what it says
