ES File Explorer cloud

I was just noticing a file in my ES File Explorer titled "public" and it contains nothing but private photos of mine! How is this happening? Where is their cloud???
 
If ES have their own cloud storage (it's been a long time since I used them) it will be a server in China somewhere.

I deleted that app a long time ago when it was found to be uploading people's cloud storage login credentials to their servers (fortunately I'd never allowed it access to any networked storage myself).
