ES File Explorer - disable default image viewer

as of last update, ESFM is using its internal enemic image viewer instead of system default for network resources. in other words when i load an image from a server, instead of loading it into system default viewer (QuickPic in this case) it loads the image into its internal garbage viewer. how can i disable this godawful implementation and revert to old behaviour? as you may detect, i'm not impressed with this 'feature'. it's destroyed my productivity.

This problem goes back to 3.2.3 at least.

Sounds very much like an issue with the app. Suggest contacting the devs, tell them about it.

Try system settings....[manage] apps....es file explorer...[ scroll down to] clear defaults.

Then the next time you view an image it should ask you what program to use an whether you want it to remember that choice
