Help ES File Explorer new update ..Where's is the Themes Menu?

In the new update to ES File Explorer the change Themes option seems to be hidden now.

Don't like the plain folders it now has and cannot find the Themes button anymore.

The latest version, it auto updated.
It looks really old fashioned too.
There must be a way to change the folders maybe?

Did you download from playstore or apk?

Edit: Did a little research. v4.1.2 is the one you are referring to. I download latest from Playstore v4.0.5...this is the old style. Latest from APK Mirror is your version. I'm thinking maybe it's the International version????

Another reason not to update apps if you're happy with what you have.

Disable auto update in your glueGull play$tore settings...

I have Play Store Auto Update turned off. I am notified when a new update is available. I was recently notified that there was a new ES update.

I now have installed ...
ES - 4.1.2.2 (Market)
ES Pro - Pro-1.0.7 (Market)
... each is the latest released version.

I have found no way to manipulate the theme in the new version of ES. There was some residue from the previous version when I first did the update. I then did an uninstall/install and selected remove data. After that I could find nothing about the themes.

My experience with ES is that the developer "experiments" with the user interface in ES and it changes in almost every release. The developer does not "experiment" with ES Pro. Many of the experimental changes do not survive for long

I never use ES or ES Pro to access anything in the cloud. This is a known security risk.

I'm still on ES Pro 1.0 and all is good. Also not using any cloud options for it. Another reason to turn off auto updates.

Didn't sign up to be a Beta tester no. Now noticed lots of complaints about no themes.

I think you are asking for trouble in the future. Strength comes form having multiple people share their experiences on a product.

If you MUST use ES then I suggest you use ES Pro and never access anything in the cloud. I also suggest that no one ever use auto update for any reason.
