ES File Explorer not showing folders....

I have a Samsung Tab with ES File Explorer installed. I can create a shortcut to my network drive and access the folder that I need. Unfortunately, it is only showing about 10% of the folders that are actually in the folder on my network.
Tablet is connected to Wifi. Tried using vpn with no change.
Logged into laptop using the same network account and can see all the folders.
None of the folders are hidden.
Any help would be great.

Solution: ES file explorer is crap. Buy Root Explorer from Google Play, it doesn't hide anything
