Ethernet Configuration

Hi guys and girld =D
So this is my problem.
Is there anyway that i can change the negotiation mode for the ethernet usb2eth adaptor?

Causs here in my house, we use 2 switchs, then to connect, i got to change in my computer to 10mb full duplex to work.
so, the tablet don't get the net when I connect the ethernet cable. =/

I really net to buy a wifi router, but till there, i'd like to use my tablet with internet.

I'm using android 2.2 in a Ibak 7015 tablet. (china FTW) haha

Thanks

I haven't heard of a device that converts USB to RJ45, but that's cool that that exists!

So let me get this straight, your network consists of 1 modem/wired router to ISP, then two switches connect to it, from there we can assume that the computer and tablet are connected to the switch?

What are the switch settings? Using VLANs or anything?

Also, would you be able to install Terminal Emulator on the tablet and configure it with ifconfig?
[[ not that i've really tried using ifconfig from term emu.... so.. it might not even work.. ]]

just my 2 cents.

You shouldn't have to change anything. Any decent tablet will do auto-negotiation. I haven't come across a computer yet that doesn't assuming it's not of ancient (Win2k type) vintage. Now, I've come across modems, routers and firewalls that don't auto-negotiate with other devices, but never with computers.

Ok, re-reading again. Your Android tablet supports wired networks? I so want that. I have no clue how you can change settings like that in Android as I've never ever seen an Android tablet that supports wired networks.
