If you look through the changes you'll notice this:
Network

Network type constants
ConnectivityManager adds the constants TYPE_ETHERNET and TYPE_BLUETOOTH.

This means they have added a driver for ethernet, right? So doesn't that mean we can get a usb-ethernet adapter and connect it to our transformers to surf te web with it? That would be so awesome at school!

a lot easier than fussing around with cables... it's not too expensive either and it'll get your phone connected as well

To be honest I'd rather use a cable, because of the fuss with wireless settings and all that. Cables are faster and more reliable too.

But I was just wondering if it was finally possible?

I'd like to use a cable too. I bought a usb ethernet adapter and it does not work. Nothing happens when I attach it. Waste of money.
