Everyone Updated?

Alright, so everyone who is updated, post below with when and how. (.zip or OTA) This is just to make sure everyone has the update.

Got the alert today for me at 10:58 AM Central time. I was running Shiftr128's 2.3 Point Blank ROM so I waited till I got home to wipe my phone and do an update.zip Currently my phone is a bit laggy so Ill see what's up quick and yeah... Everyone else post here about your update! Anyone who is having issues applying Froyo that havn't been stated elsewhere already please post here too.
 
Updated manually at 6am CST So far its a great improvement! No problems at all. So far battery life is improved, not even 50% yet, and I've been playing with it all day!
 
I was updated OTA this morning, and had a strong signal during the download, afterwords, I see that the phone is slower loading pages and videos as well as the button in the contacts list no longer works properly. ( The button that appears to the right of the list of contacts when you are searching up or down and wish to do it fast) My finger just keeps going as the button stops everytime.
Figures.

Yeah... Tried to end Market with task manager, and then my phone froze. I mean like the screen wouldn't turn on for crap... I'm anxiously awaiting a new ROM... Stock has always been bad...
 
Updated manually with the backup file method. Been working great. No problems with 3G/WiFi. I do have the problem with the auto-rotate though. Only goes into landscape mode when I slide the keyboard out.

Nothing major though.
 
woke up this moning at 6:30 am est and installed ota 2.2 in about 5 minutes.lagged at first but after a battery pull all has been smooth.
 
I thought the stock 2.2 didn't have problems with auto rotation? does it work inside apps cause I read that all samsung phones with a keyboard won't landscape in the homescreen?
 
Not sure how to tell if 2.2 came through on the phone, but I got no messages, no alerts, and "update android" in settings still says the same "your system is up to date". My "firmware version" did not have any updates and it says "2.1-update1"
 
Oh and my baseband version is ECLAIR.DI11, so it's correct to get the Froyo update. I just haven't gotten it yet.
 
I updated manually yesterday and both my phone and my wife's phone are getting Google Services Framework (processcom.google.process.gapps) has stopped unexectedly. Please try again. I formatted the SD cards and wiped the data from the Google Services Framework. The error still pops up constantly. I tried a factory reset and it fails every time. I don't know where to go from here.
 
Hmmm...I'm stock. I've turned everything on that is normally "off", such as wireless, account syncing, all the stuff I normally have unchecked to save battery. I've rebooted, ensured phone is fully charged, etc. Still nothing. If I don't get OTA notification, I'll call Sprint on Monday. The only thing I can think of (maybe???) is that I have a phone with a MD # in FL, since I moved and kept my #. Not sure why that would prevent anything, but who knows!

Turn on account syncing. Try downloading something from the app market. Then check for available updates. This worked for me, just installed it myself about 5 minutes ago :)
 
Thanks to Cooper 271! That tip totally worked and my phone says the Froyo Update is downloading (concurrently with the game from app market I picked as per your tip). Crossing fingers that I'm good to go when the updated finishes. MANY THANKS AGAIN!!!
 
Download took about 20 mins. Install took 5 mins. Works great now for all the stuff I use (which is pretty basic). I like some of the new features and my email sync errors are gone!
 
Quick alert for everyone, there are some apps that are um... 'Hidden from view' and unable to be downloaded from the market. Angry Birds is one because Rovio took us off the support list. Ill be sending him a tweet saying that since we have 2.2 we'd love some official support.
 
Yes, it is good I think but I have not figured out desk top with little buttons on each side. Center bar does not slide up many applications are not viewable,
anyone know where instructions are????
