Excel on Sony smartphone

I have installed MS Excel on my Xperia XZ1. I work in it almost every day. I store many important info related my job in this document. Some hours ago I has noticed, that the data for 2 or 3 days were gone. I can't understand the reason of this. Probably, I have any opportunity to see it again.

Well restart your phone of course, just to be sure there isn't some random issue that involves how your phone stores data and how your Excel app reads those saved files.
If your recent files are still missing, as @lunatic59 has referred to, do you have anything like OneDrive or Office365 set up to back up your Excel files? If you don't want to pay the subscription fee for Office365, it costs nothing to set up a Microsoft account and then just install the MS OneDrive app. There are just too many weak points to rely on any smartphone as safe, long term storage, you really do need to set up some kind of backup solution.

You may type in google this corrupt excel file repair online

Or try https://onlinefile.repair/en/excel.html - it works under Windows, Linux, Mac

I got the strong feeling what Lunatic said is very accurate..I used to have the same problem with my printer, where while scanning a new document..so I have to NAME every single new one right away..if I don't the latest scan would delete the previews one..
Sorry but I think your work of last three days is gone..but you can make a difference from now on
