Excluding graphics scanning in certain dirs?

Hello All,

It's my 2nd day using Android device, so be patient in case it's already a common knowledge - haven't found the answer anywhere yet.
I have copied some music albums to the MicroSD card, and they contained some cover art - as jpegs - now, when I open my "Galerry" app, it's trashed with all the album covers - looks horrible.
Is there any way of excluding certain paths from scanning?

I have read about creating a file named ".nomedia" that prevents the dir from being scanned, but I don't mind my mp3s being found, so I don't like that approach. Also, some said that their media disappeared completely after creating the file...

Any idaes?

You could use an other gallery app for your pictures, e.g. QuickPic.
With this app you can exclude folder from showing pictures.
Your mp3s wouldn't affected :)

OK, thanks,
I am really satisfied with the default gallery app, apart from the unnecessary dirs. I have manually deleted all graphics files, and now it's better ;)
Hopefully, they'll fix it in the future.
