Expanding 4g?

The last few days I've had solid 4g connection without interruption in my house which is an hour from Atlanta and 45 minutes from Athens(the two closest 4g areas). I rarely have 4g normally, and it's never solid. Could this be a sign of expansion this soon? I'm liking it!

I think so! We had 4g yesterday for the first time in our small Virginia town. I called our local vz store and they said it was being tested and we could expect final rollout soon. Can't come soon enough as mobile broadband is what we use at home for our internet connection since there is no other dsl or cable modem service here. We have 4g capable phones and our mifi is 4g as well so bring it on!

What part of VA are you in? I'm 90 minutes from DC, tucked into the mountains, and would love to see 4G soon. Our local store is saying before the end of the year, but won't get any more specific than that.

This is great. Best speeds I think I've ever had.

Shenandoah Valley, in Augusta County so probably further away from you than this will reach, but if they are looking at us, you all can't be far behind. Good luck to all us ruralites!

I'm not too far from ya, in Frederick County. But that certainly makes me hopeful that VZW will be flipping the switch aooner rather than later. I've heard rumors that the infrastructure is already in place, and now it's just a matter of time before they decide to activate it.

Keep an eye on yours today. I have 4g signal again today!
