Help Experia battery charging and notification sounds - oddity

I let the battery run empty on my Xperia mini, then charge it. On waking it up mid charge I find its reorganised what notifications sounds I've set to play with specific apps. Its seemed to have mixed them up randomly.

It also sets the general blanket notification sound (in settings for the phone) to whatever the last music track I played was.

Yes, this sounds bonkers. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks. I know it might seems like I'm making this up also, but its resolved itself. Obviously, I'll update as I go along :)

Further to the oddness. After swaping my microDS card for a larger one again it lost all notification settings (not the sounds used, I didn't have them stored on the old SD), and chose a random song form my music to set all notification sounds to.
Its seems to do it when I charge ut, update the OS, or change the SD card! Crackers.

That can happen if the some of the content you have set up as a notification or ringtone is stored on the SD card as any action that prevents the phone from reading the content would cause it to search for alternative content.

Sorry, late pick up on your reply Sam. Nope its not that, I can say that because I haven't touched the SD card since I popped a new one in a month ago.
It seems to change the notification tones daily, regardless of what I set them too, it reverts to some track or the default ones.

I'm totally bemused. It does it now frequently, independent of other triggers I've mentioned in previous posts.

I hate to say it, but given all the things you have tried (software update, memory card replacement etc) the only other option left is repair.
