Exporting/importing just contacts nightmare!

This has really got me tearing my hair out but no idea how to stop it!

Basically I have all the contacts I want on display but when I export to sd card then look at the file it does a load of email addresses which I don't want!

If I import my contacts from the sd card it brings all the emails as well.

Now I've turned on all the sync settings and chosen only to sync contacts and app (turned all the rest off and even deleted ALL gmail)

How the hell do I save JUST contacts? So frustrating but would love someone to put me out my misery!

Just go to the Phonebook Settings and from there go to your view settings and check the box which says "Only display contacts with a phone number" Once you do that, you can simply export your viewed contacts to your SD card with ease.

Thanks for your reply. It still exports a load of useless emails though. No idea how as I've deleted all my emails. Where is it getting the useless emails from?

Figured this out in the end

Google (desktop version) gmail, starred, mark all, delete

Beats me why I couldn't just do this in the gmail app
