extended battery 3600 mah review(red yellow hong kong)

IM SORRY FOR THE EXCESSIVE BATTERY THREADS!!

I received my 3600 mah battery this week from hong kong. Overall, it is a decent battery. I get 8 hours of moderate use with 4g on. and about 6 hours of heavy use. I expected more considering the overall size of the battery and added bulk. but i am satisfied none the less.

I do have some small complaints however:

1.The battery indicator gave me a heart attack because i lost %50 compacity in 2 hours. But then it slowed down some.

2. This battery takes ages to charge. 5 hours to reach full compacity with phone off!!! dedicating 5 hours of your day to charge your phone is kind of absurd. HOWEVER, i am getting an external charger for the battery, so that should remedy this issue.

3. I hate resorting to using 1g because im paying 60 dollars for metros best plan, and i cant even fully enjoy my 4g service due to battery limitations. (personal rant)

BOTTOM LINE: The 3600 mah battery is overall a nice option. (just make sure you have external charger so that u dont have to be without your phone 5hours to get full charge). you can use stock battery in the mean time.

When "mugen" releases their real 3600 mah capacity battery next month, I will buy it asap. mugen has yet to let me down with their products. Their batteries cost alot but its worth it. I will review it and post here.

I believe that stabilizes over time. Might also help if you calibrate the battery for more accurate readings.

Personally, this is why I keep a USB charger and cord plugged into the cigarette lighter, a charger by the bed, a cord next to the computer, even a charger in my pocket sometimes depending on where I'll. I've never quite understood the complaint about charging time. Maybe its me but most of the time I don't have problem finding a place to charge even if it is just for a partial or top it off situation.

Have nothing for that one since getting the 3600 mAh. I prefer my Internet time on the computer not the phone I guess.

Save your money. Do you really need unlimited streaming through Metro? I pay $35 (family discount) per month for my Indulge with 4G service and use the 4G as much as I want (or as much as my battery can handle).

How does that work? Do you get $5 off for every line added? Do all the lines get it, or only the one?

Just to throw this out there. Battery got a pretty good test today. Eight hours off the charger, fiddling the phone most of the day (on WiFi in a 4G area, had the symbol the whole time though). By the time I got back in the car to put it back on the charger it has 25% charger left.

Funnily enough I received the backup battery today and thought I really do not need this. However what I know is going to happen is the time is going to come when I do need it and it will be sitting in a drawer uncharged.

$5 per line on the same account. I think the max is 5 lines iirc. Minimum of 2 phones to get the discount. If you have 2 lines on the same account already call metro and ask to switch to the family plan. As far as I know over the phone customer service is the only group able to make the change.
