Extended battery or external power pack?

What do you prefer? I mean, I wish the extended capacity batteries for phones didn't make them so much bigger, you know?

External power packs I've used my first power pack with all my phones and now I use the pack with my HTC One X.

I have an extended battery pack and i love it! The cover is half.dlim half fat which gives excellent grip!

I've got a 2500MaH battery in my Wildfire S, it *DOES* last approx. twice as long as the standard battery. But I keep the standard battery charged (just in case!)l
