Extended Battery with Case recomendations.

I am looking to purchase an extended battery, and protective case that will fit the phone after the battery is installed. So far, I am noticing that there is not near the selection of cases out there in this slightly larger category (for reasons I understand), but I am hoping that someone out there has purchased a combo for their galaxy that they can recommend. So far, I have searched all the major sights and am still looking. Any help appreciated!

Nice, that looks like a good one, though almost 2x what I was hoping to spend. Anyone else have any suggestions? Thanks for the reply.

I have the MOPHIE BATTERY CASE & it's definitely a keeper. Battery life is not a worry, but, I TOTALLY understand the $ sentiment, so.......

I also have the GORILLA GADGETS 4500 extended battery. I picked up a TPU CASE that fits over this from YESOO on AMAZON.
But, GORILLA GADGETS has a similar (if not identical) TPU CASE that is made to fit w/the extended battery.

You can probably pick up both in a combo-deal (along w/an e-coupon) for around $30.

BTW,the GORILLA GADGETS 4500 battery is awesome, you won't be disappointed. However, I'd stay away from the external charger for this battery from the same site. Although it works, a full charge takes anywhere from 14-18 hrs . If this isn't an issue, then otherwise it works just fine, providing a 100% charge.

Thanks for the info folks. I have been eying the gorilla battery and case with some promise. philmccan I look forward to that review. I saw both those items on Amazon as well.

So I'm back to give my review as promised.

First the battery, I did not realize the size and weight that it would add to the phone when I bought it. But for me that is a good thing, the phone feels more solid with the extra weight. In my mind the phone felt delicate with the less weight. I charged it over night the first night I had it. The following day I ran pandora straight for 6 hours at work and the battery ran down to 68%, that included some light texting and checking FB and screwing around on the internet. Not bad in my book.

Now the case I just got tonight, it feels more plastic than rubber. I read reviews that said it fit loose on peoples phones. After putting it on all I can figure is those people did not have the extended battery. I had to use a popsicle stick to finagle it on which I was happy about. As I said it has more of a plastic feel to it so there is not too much grip in the texture. I'm not sure how protective this case will be as far as say dropping it on concrete, but I'm sure I will find out in the next couple weeks.
So over all I am happy with both purchase, and would say they are a decent deal.
