Root External as Internal?

I was wondering if there is a way to swap External 128g card as if it were the internal card. I have all settings placed on external but for some reason I seem to run out of internal storage space fast.

I do as well. I only have a 32GB in but get notice all the time that since is short. I've moved all the apps I can to the external card. My copilot gps shows on the device still using 2gb. I would have thought map data would store to the card

Check out this great guide to get unlocked, recovery, and rooted
If you bought your phone in the United States use 32-bit, if you bought it in Europe/Australia use 64-bit

Make a backup of everything on your sd card as this will wipe it
Flash either RhInStOnE-A11 or Modded Desire 510 Kernel v2.6.1
Use Aparted to delete the card, create at least one FAT32 partition (whatever size you want) to put external files on, and create at least one ext4 partition (whatever size you want) to put linked apps on
Format all of your partitions
Use Link2SD to link your apps and free up space on internal storage

I am currently using one 48GB FAT32 partition and one 16GB ext4 partition with Link2SD and it is working great

Enjoy your extra space
