I have a small portable battery. The stats are: Capacity: 4000MAH, Input: 5V/2.1A, Output: 5V/2.1A

I read, in the instruction manual, other charges are not recommended. Knowing how manufacturers want you to use all of their devices I was wondering if anyone would use this portable battery? I actually doubt that I would ever get into a situation where my battery dies on me but I always try to be a good Boy Scout and Be Prepared.

All comments welcome.

Just use it, a battery is a battery.

4000mAh is quite small by today's requirements. It would give you about 3000mAh after conversion.

That is the way I was thinking. As I wrote it would be just in case I am stranded and unable to charge via normal method. Thanks and Merry Christmas
