Help External SD not recognised

gdscei

Newbie
I recently rooted my international galaxy s (i9000). I have 2.3.4 and have installed the cyanogen mod.

The problem here is, that for some reason it just says 'folder is empty' when i try to go into external_sd in the file explorer. In Settings>Storage, at how much of the external sd cards GB used, it says: 'Not Available'. I can however select the option to delete everything from the sd card.

Can I get some help? ^.^

Edit: The stats that said "Unavailable", aren't the SD card's. They are: "additional storage: /mnt/emmc".

So, for some reason, it doesn't even know the SD card is there. I've already formatted the SD card with my computer, and before formatting, it still worked on my computer, so it couldn't be corrupted. After formatting nothings changed.

I think the problem lies at Cyanogen, as I also don't have the Samsung Apps. Is there any fix out there?
