Square one being...what?Recently I downloaded a package of files but I cannot extract them. It says that already exists. I apparently could replace or rename them. I did try the latter option which took me back to square one.
Changing the tool you use to see your files won't change your files' locations. When you try to extract something and it says the files already exist, they're really there, and changing file managers won't change that.I'm using My Files. Should I switch to X-plore or use something else?
Okay, that means the files definitely were extracted--so you're now at square two.Square one is the same choices, rename or replace.
They may have been extracted in the same directory the archive file is in. Have you looked through that directory?I'm pretty sure they're all or mostly documents, maybe pdfs. It doesn't show where they would be extracted and as far as I know I have no choice in the matter.
If you want to share where/what you downloaded, I'll step through it and then tell you where to find the files!I suppose once I found them (if I did) I would read them.
