Face Show Has Stopped

I've been getting this message for a few weeks and even googling it doesn't help.. There is no app on my phone called face show..its also not anything I can find that I did have on my Samsung phone that used to view face to turn off when you aren't looking at screen...at least I don't have that in my settings to change and I really have looked everywhere for it.

What is causing this please and how to I get rid of it? Is it a virus? Is someone watching m stuff?

Here is screenshot

Could be something in the phone's software gone wrong? Maybe it's a process to do with face unlocking? Have you tried restarting or resetting the phone?

I have restarted phone many times, but never reset it, I just want to know what it is, or who is watching me...googling it brought up zero results asides from some appl called apie, which I have never used but that was faceshow...not face show

Okay, try going to settings>apps and then hit menu and show all apps. Then see if you can find face show. If you do, tap on it, then try clearing the cache and data for the app and restart your phone. If that doesn't clear it up, you might need to factory reset or contact Alcatel support (who most likely will have you reset the phone).

Then it might be part of the camera app. I haven't ever seen it beyond the YouTube video so I can't tell you exactly where to look for the problem. :(

Omfg, I hope I don't need to reset phone, because its a nightmare recovering some passwords, particularly fb, who insist you must recognise several faces of hundred of friends ..some of whom you never actually met!!

If you look at the video, it appears to be the gallery app they launch to get to "Face Show". Try clearing the cache and data for the gallery (but back up all your photos first!!!). You might also check to see if there is an update for the gallery app from Alcatel.

Alternately, you could disable that gallery app and use something else like Google Photos.
