Facebook App Issues

I'm having this issue where my facebook app informs me of a notification so I go to check it. And then the notification in the top bar disappears. Sounds normal right? But then, normally less than 5 minutes after I look at the notification, it pops up again. There isn't any new information, but it alerts me to the same notification 3 - 5 in a span of 15 minutes. Is there a way to change this?

That sounds like Bloo! Only they updated the app today that fixes this. Go check for updates.

You're right. I uninstalled facebook and still got those messages. I'm installing the update for Bloo right now

just make a shortcut to ht*p://touch.facebook.com. much better than any android facebook app in my opinion.

it's amazing that Android and Facebook can't match up for a decent app. iPhone, Bberry, and now Palm all have pretty darn good facebook apps for their phones. Palm's new one released yesterday looks just like the iPhone one.

I saw that! My fiance has a Pre and he was facebook-ing it up for hours last night. It looks like it's doing really well too. He was excited. Although that doesn't take much...

The problem I have with that particular url is that the news feed isn't in chronological order. Things that were posted hours ago are above new updates.

Okay... the issue was fixed. Then I restarted my phone. Apparently, Bloo hates me because I did that. I just got the same 3 notifications 3 times in 5 minutes. -.-'
