Facebook App Update

I was wondering if anyone had heard rumors of when the next update for the Facebook app will update, or any of its new features.
 
I'm pretty sure if there was knowledge like that out there, the tech sites would be reporting it (phandroid, engadget, gizmodo, etc). As far as I am aware there is no info like that.

On a side note, I've given up hope on facebook app for android. I'm using the mobile site until they get their sh*t together. It really is discouraging how bad the android app is.
 
not even the mobile site works worth a damn. i see old notifications from a week ago pop up, the posts are all mixed up, bleh.
 
I get a update notice everytime i go back into the market for the same version i am already running its just easier to go to the site through my browser
 
I like the 'Mobile' version the best, I think all-around it works the most effectively. The Touch version is annoying and the app just is plain terrible IMO.
