I have a Droid Incredible. I am using the Facebook app that came on the phone. IMO it isn't that great. I am looking for an app that notifies me when I get new notifications or messages just like the site has with it's numers in red.

One that includes Facebook IMs would also be great, but this is less of an issue.

Does this app exist?

The built in facebook app is so horrendous I use touch.facebook.com instead. Why is it so hard to make one that works like the iPhone's for Android?
 
What you can do is activate your phone to Facebook on a computer and it will send you text messages when you have a friend request,when a friend request is approved,and when somebody comments on your status.

The only thing I don't like about the Touch site is that all the news feeds seem to be out of order (Top News vs. Most Recent). Is there a way to fix this?

***Nevermind, simply clicking News Feed again will load Most Recent***
 
Another thing I noticed with android facebook app is that I can't watch videos that my friends post. However, I can watch them on my iPod touch. You guys have the same problem??
 
I have no support for ya with a different app for FB, but ebuddie from the market allows you to IM with FB friends, very nice IMO.
 
I have a separate chat app for Facebook, but I'd like it all integrated into one.

Bloo didn't look that great so I didn't try it, but I was only judging from the screenshots.

Today I saw a friend request notification in the top notification bar on my Incredible for the first time. I don't know if it was a coincidence that I was on my phone at the same time I received it or if it would have stayed there until I cleared it.

FB is having issues with this right now. A few different carriers aren't getting any SMS from FB, myself included (on Sprint).

I may have to check out the original Bloo just to give it a shot.

I got two new friends over the weekend on Facebook and the app would not show them even after a full day! So I logged into the FB webpage on my phone and went back to the app. Now one of the two new friends are shown, but not the other one who actually sent me the request and got accepted a day before the one that is showing up on my friends list. What gives???

I have this exact same problem. I accepted a friend request yesterday and it does not show up on my friends list in the app. When I go on to the real site he's there, but still not in the app :(
 
The Bloo from the market is garbage and I haven't tried to hunt down 1.5. On install Bloo mentions that the chat function is only available to official Facebook apps, so for us wanting an all-in-one app we're stuck waiting for the official guys to stop sucking.
