Facebook (build 303612) stuck in notifications bar

[Android Question]

Yesterday on my LG Viper, a "Facebook build (303612)" started downloading in my notifications, and it is stuck there, no way to remove it. It is at 0% and I have searched all over for a way to remove it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Facebook and rebooted numerous times. An earlier post advised that when connected to WiFi, it disappears. While this is true, I still don't want this draining my battery all day while NOT connected to WiFi. If you know how to fix this please help!

I have a Samsung conquer with that problem and I found answer on another thread..went to downloads then other download 303612 was there clicked a box next to it which gave me option to cancel touched cancel and it was gone...hope this helps
