I cannot install facebook on my LG Optimus phone. Error package file error. Is there a newer version? If so, can some one provide me with a link?

this( Facebook ) is the latest FB app in the market. This is what works for me when i have issues downloading/installing something from the market.
Go to Settings->Applications->Manage->Running - Click Google Play Store - Then Clear Cache (NOT CLEAR DATA!!!!) - Then Force Stop - Then Click Google Services Framework - Click Clear Data - Click Force Stop - Reboot Device and wait @ least 5-10 minutes.
