Help Facebook for adroid notifications

Hello again,
Got such a fast response to my last (now solved) problem that i thought i'd come back again.
Twitter for android displays an icon in the top notification area when new tweets are made. Can the same thing be done when my Facebook for android account has new status updates??

If you want notifications for every update, I think it\s not possible.

But if you want notifications for fb notifications you can set it with fb settings. But application should be on internal storage, if you move to sd card it has problems with notifications.

I've double checked and definitely on internal storage. Facebook settings show notifications checked and ringtone chosen also. Can't really think of anything else to do???

i use friendcaster pro its basially facebook for mobile but better then the facebook app in my opinion i can take a pic on my ace and upload it direct to my fb and view comments,reply and all the normal things you can do on facebook

and you can get notification updates every hour for most shiz as you can pretty much see your whole profile you can view all notifications, i know i get a noti' when someone replies to my comments or comments on my photos and whatever.

you would wanna click news feed..and you view all status updates
