What he said. Sometimes your last status comes up and you can edit it, but yeah, this is how you update your FB status with the browser.I believe you hit the word STATUS (I believe it's to the left of the big FACEBOOK logo) then you type away in the box. Navigating the mobile Facebook site works best with the trackball rather than touching the screen.

they're inquiring about COMMENTING on status, not posting your status. For instance, if you have a certain status...and someone comments on it, you'll get an email notifying you of their comment. They are asking if there's a way to reply to that comment....or possibly how to comment on someone else's status
Thanks for clearing that up cNo7. That's exactly what I was looking for...
In the past, when I got an email (thru my gmail acct on the G1) about a status comment, there would be a link provided...but when I clicked it, I got a jumbled page. Recently, it's been noticed that when I click the link, it takes me to the "regular facebook" as opposed to the "mobile facebook" page. That might be the difference?
...I was just wondering if it was something that I was missing within the actual Android Market application.!
