Facebook icon unread count problem

The Facebook icon on my home screen is showing 1 unread message on it. I have no unread messages or notifications on my Facebook account. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall Facebook, logged out and logged back in, cleared cache, clear data. Nothing works I still have the Little number one on my facebook icon. Any thoughts?

Thanks everyone who replied with helpful advice. Lol
Anyway I finally figured it out. Had to deselect fb in the tesla unread app (I use nova prime) then clear cache and reselect fb.
