Help Facebook in battery stats

Facebook has started showing up in my battery stats even though I am not using it or signed into it on my phone. It is also quite annoying that I cannot uninstall it either. Any ideas anyone would be very much appreciated
 
1. Open up the Facebook app
2. Go into Settings in the menu below
3. Go into 'Refresh Interval' and select Never
 
That is the thing , I am not even using the app or even logged in. I have uninstalled all updates to app and deleted data and that seems to have worked for now
