Facebook Messenger Issue

Is anyone having issues with their Facebook Messenger app on the note 7.

A couple days ago the app stopped working, after uninstalling, restarting etc all I get is this damn 'something went wrong' message.

Am I alone here?

Not had an issue here. Try installing facebook lite. See if that works.

Facebook lite did work but pretty glitchy. Now to make things even better the main Facebook app has stopped working, and ideas for fixes.

Nope. I started experiencing this same issue yesterday evening and now my wife is having the same problem today.

I have a S6 Edge Plus and my wife has a S7 Edge. We only get the Something Went Wrong message on our phones and only in our specific chat with each other. Also, none of our group chats show up. However, all other platforms work fine. These issues only appear on our phones.

No issuese here, love how Messenger doubles as a very competent SMS app as well, all my messaging in one place.
