Hi, I have a Backflip and just was curious about something. I've seen a number of folks complians about the Facebook app and say it sucks so I'm guessing this is part of that. However, I DO get notifications but sometimes they come into my email box and other times they show up at the top of my screen. When I go to the top of my screen I'm directed to the mobile facebook site (not the touch one). Normally it doesn't even load so I just go to the Facebook app to check notifications there under the notifications tab. I guess my question is is there a way to make this more consistent? I mean can they just show up in the app or in email or something? I'm not sure if it's doubling what I'm getting (just later or earlier?) or what. Thanks.

(I say this assuming it's the same for all of the Android platform)
Go into the app, use the menu button, asks select the option for "settings". Once in there, you can select what it will notify you for cnn and how often it will check for those things. You'll have to go into the full facebook site to then turn off the email notifications for those same options.
