I'm running the Facebook App (1.7.2) on an LG Thrive (2.2.2). In the app settings, there's a notification active/inactive toggle checkbox, and then a section below with the following options: Messages, Friend Requests, Event Invites, Vibrate, LED, Ringtone.
I have notifications active, and the Messages & Event Invites checked. Those are the only things I want notifications for. In the past, it seemed like it worked, but now I'm getting notifications for comments, wall-posts, likes, etc. I don't want those, but I don't see anywhere to "uncheck" them as options.
Any ideas for a workaround, or any info on the FB app to update and/or offer this feature?
