Facebook photo uploads tiny... why?

I took a photo in San Francisco yesterday with Droid and uploaded it using Facebook app. But it is really tiny, downsized too much.

Any idea why?

Overall, it's a great phone. Do wish it had some Sense UI sexiness though!

Yea i noticed this too, and it sucks..directly from the FB app. what i do is go to the gallery, and send/share from there to facebook, and the the original size comes out. I wish the native facebook app worked like this

FB probaby does that to save bandwidth. Instead of opening FB to take a picture, you can take a picture with the camera, then hit the tile on the top right that shows the last pic you took, then just hit share and select FB. Faster then going to the gallery.

Cool thanks. I tried what you suggested and now my photos are uploading to Facebook at a more reasonable size (604x451 which I think is the max photo size on FB).

Hopefully they will fix this in the next Android update, but for now uploading directly from the camera app seems to work.

Faced the same issue. Will try the suggestion. Hope it works.

My problem is that the Moto Droid is recording my photos sideways and then uploading my photos via K9 email client sideways. So, I rotated the photo before the upload, and it still is sideways. Anyone have a thought?
